Sanderson Associates provides CPD seminar to Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors
On the 11th March 2015, Bob Greenwood, an Associate Director along with Senior Engineer Darren Hawkyard jointly presented a seminar to the Yorkshire Branch of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) on the topics of Flood Risk and Highway Law.
The seminar gave attendees a basic insight into the aspects of Flood Risk Assessment with particular emphasis on the need for early engagement in these investigations which are now a key element in the consideration of many planning applications, irrespective of scale. The seminar also sought to clarify key issues of highway law in relation to the creation, changes to and maintenance of the highway network.
The event, held at Sanderson House in Grange Moor, Wakefield, was well attended with thanks given by Sarah Hirst of RICS to all concerned in its production.
