The finalists for the Yorkshire and Humber Construction Best Practice Awards have been announced.
Awards will be presented in 10 categories covering a wide range of subjects including leadership, collaborative working, health and safety and value.
Malcolm Foster, Best Practice Club secretary and deputy chief procurement officer for Leeds City Council, said: “Once again we are pleased to announce that we have had a record number of entries with 65 submissions over the various categories.
“The judging panel has been very impressed with the quality and standard of submission which seems to get better and better each year. It is particularly pleasing and encouraging to see the enthusiasm even in these difficult economic times.”
The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony, hosted by star impressionist Jon Culshaw, at Aspire on September 24. All the winners will be entered for the National Constructing Excellence Awards.
We are extremely pleased that we have been shortlisted for three awards:-
Leadership and People Development
