Planning Appeal Success
Proposed Convenience Store, Marford Hill, Wrexham
Sanderson Associates were appointed by Marston’s Estates and New River with respect to a planning application for a new convenience store on the site of one of Marston’s Public Houses in Marford near Wrexham.
Wrexham Council refused the planning application, Sanderson Associates were appointed to provide expert witness advice for the subsequent Appeal. Evidence was submitted for the Appeal with regard to highway safety, access for service and deliveries and the amount of parking. The public inquiry took place over two days on the 28th and 29th May 2014.
Giving consideration to the evidence submitted by the Council and the Appellant the Planning Inspector resolved to allow the appeal for the proposed Convenience Store subject to conditions on the 24 June 2014.
